Caesars receives CSR award for commitment to responsible gaming

Caesars Entertainment, Inc. announced on LinkedIn that it was honoured with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award by the National Council on Problem Gambling.

In 2023, Caesars introduced its Universal Exclusion and 21+ Gaming policies to promote responsible gaming. The Universal Exclusion policy is the broadest in the industry, allowing individuals to self-exclude from all Caesars gaming platforms. Additionally, Caesars has raised the minimum age for accessing gaming products and using the Caesars Rewards programme to 21 years old.

“As the largest gaming company in North America, it’s our special obligation to ensure that we operate on standards driven by responsible gaming. To be recognised for our work by the National Council on Problem Gambling and its members is a testament to the work and dedication of our Team Members and our belief that together, we can create a space where our guests can play safely and responsibly,” said Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment.

Caesars has a long history of responsible gaming initiatives, dating back to the launch of Project 21 in 1989. The company has invested in employee training, established a dedicated responsible gaming council, and supports organisations focused on problem gambling research, education, and treatment.

Breaking barriers and building bridges

Caesars Entertainment has also celebrated another milestone in diversity and inclusion, having earned a perfect score of 100 percent on the Disability Equality Index (DEI) by Disability. This prestigious recognition highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to creating an inclusive workplace for individuals with disabilities.

In their LinkedIn post, Caesars Entertainment expressed their pride in being recognised as a “Best Place to Work for #DisabilityInclusion.” This shows that the company is dedicated to developing an environment where all employees are valued and empowered.

The Disability Equality Index, a comprehensive benchmarking tool, evaluates various aspects of corporate disability inclusion policies and practices. Earning a 100 percent score reflects Caesars Entertainment’s successful efforts in promoting accessibility, equality, and opportunity within its workforce.
